    Maverick / Banshee error

    I've just installed Maverick 10.10 x64 on my system and I must say things are going pretty good. I added the repositories for kde 4.5.2 and everything seems to be ok.

    One thing however is Banshee. It is giving me some form of X error:

    Code:
    dpich@DP5-MARK6:~$ banshee
    [Info 15:55:06.680] Running Banshee 1.7.6: [Ubuntu maverick (development branch) (linux-gnu, x86_64) @ 2010-09-18 21:00:29 UTC]

    The program 'Banshee' received an X Window System error.
    This probably reflects a bug in the program.
    The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'.
     (Details: serial 2010 error_code 8 request_code 2 minor_code 0)
     (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
      that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
      To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
      option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
      backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

    Time to scrub Banshee and Mono off your box and try Rhythmbox?

      Good idea! Mono is just as bad as that Java junk.
