How come all my fonts shrunk?

I woke up this morning and all my fonts shrunk, so I reinstalled 10.04, all was good for an hour and instantly they shrunk again.
Can anyone tell me what is going on?

Also, what happened to my xorg.conf file
It has always been here /etc/X11/xorg.conf did something change when I was not looking?
