Window specific settings not saving

I like non-active windows to fade to transparency. I am trying to set one application to not fade (huludesktop) when it's not in focus. There seems to be a dialog that is supposed to do what I want.

R-click on title bar > Advanced> Special Application Settings> Preferences> Inactive opacity in %> 100

and click OK.

Not only does it not have any immediate effect, it doesn't save.
