Hi all, I am trying to install Kubuntu from the iso file. The installtion process was fine but after restarting my computer, it will not boot. Do I need to install a boot loader before running hte installtion CD?
looks like the installer does not create a Master Boot Record when doing a fresh install aon a formatted disk. There is only SWAP and EXT4 partitions. No EXT2 MBR partition.
ok, my mistake. Looks like Kubuntu detected that I have a windows installation as well and made changes to the MBR on that disk. It boots but now I need to update drivers.
