Lost UNE UI after Kubuntu Plasma Notebook install

I first installed Ubuntu Netbook Edition (UNE) 10.04 LTS, then I installed Kubuntu Plasma Notebook and Xubuntu Desktop.
So, I have the option of starting my session in any of these "flavors".

After the Kubuntu installation, I had to run dpkg-reconfigure to select "kdm" to see all buttons for shutting down, logging off, restart under kubuntu.

However, when I go back and start my session with Ubuntu notebook, it displays the Ubuntu Desktop interface instead, the UNE UI is gone.

Any ideas on what I need to tweak to have it display the Ubuntu Network Edition (UNE) interface?

I think your having conflicts of interest's hear ......KDM is the KDE display manager and GDM the Gnome ...........kdm probably inset launching the UNE it's basicley a shell on top of Gnome look for somthing in /usr/bin that would be the netbook shell (cant remember what it's cald ) or

sudo dpkg-reconfigure kdm

and select gdm and reboot.

then you may not get the Kubuntu netbook shell but a Kubuntu KDE desktop.
