The Kubuntu boot splash doesn't appear at all while booting. The only thing on the screen is the flashing cursor in the upper left corner. However, it does appear if it does a Disc Check and i'll usually see it a second before the login screen appears. It also appears while shutting down and if i boot off the live cd. But it just won't show it if it's booting up normally. Btw, I have Grub2.
