I have installed Kubuntu 10.04 LTS Desktop Edition from CD received via ShipIt and left without Internet . AFAIK that is because of an unsupported soft modem of my notebook. I found out which third party packages I should install for it. But when I issue
gdebi pkgname
error message says the dependancy cannot be resolved: gcc. I have checked with aptitude that the following packages have been installed during initial installation:
gcc-4.4-base (base package)
libgcc1 (GCC support library)
Q: Which *.deb package(s) exactly I should install additionally and where I shoud get it (them) from (using, of course, another computer)?
Add1: Where can I get compatible binary *.deb package for GCC 4.4.3 for manual installation?
