Internal Microphone, No way to fix it?

Hello everyone, i am new to linux, ubuntu, and kubuntu.
    I am using a laptop, sony vaio e series(VPCEB2UFX)
with Kubuntu 10.04 and asla drivers installed.
I have successfuly been able to get my sound and video card drivers working.
One thing i have not been able to get working, is my internal microphone(the one next
to the camera on the screen.)

I only have a bluetooth earpiece and my internal mic, so as of yet i am unable to
talk in skype, i can listen, but cannot use mic.

My mic does not show up in the mixer, at all, by either using alsamix or
looking at kmix. when i go to applicates>settings>multimedia
    i have the following listed.

    HDA Intel(ALC269 Analog)
HD-Audio generic(ATI HDMI) <- from my vid card i think for out to hdmi
HD-Audio generic, ATI HDMI (HDMI Audio Output)
    Jack Audio Connection kit

under audio capture i have listed
    HDA Intel(Alc269 Analog)

i have tried using the Alc269 Analog in skype to no effect. I dont even know if this is my mic.
Scouring the net has provided no results, i have seen people with similar problems in other forums
but no fix. I think my internal mic is not found at all.

so i decided to try my bluetooth earpiece...
skype finds it in input and output devices, i made a test call
and to my surprise i hear the test call, but about 8 seconds into
the call, skype crashes. I think it is crashing when it is enabling my bluetoothmic.
if i test call and use no bluetooth mic, it wont crash.

so... i tried getting my bluetooth to be listed as an audio device by making .asndrc
like i read in forums, skype detects my bluetooth as new device as well now
but it neither has sound or mic capabilities.

any help with either of these would be much appreciated.
whether i can get help or not, thank you for reading.

    I got it to work.
    went to

    http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/...&GetDown=false

downloaded the linux versions of the driver, extracted, opened terminal and did ./install in the directory i put it into.
rebooted, opened alsamix, hit f4 to see all my devices, made sure it was max, looked at my kmix in the lower right side of the screen, made sure i had a check in side the capture box, and it worked.

now to work on the bluetooth issue
