    ATI opengl

I have been using Kubuntu since around the first of January and I've gotten pretty good with it. The Konsole has become second nature to me. The one thing I have a problem with is OpenGL. My video card is an ATI mobility Radeon x600 and I'm running the Generic AMD_64 version of Kubuntu. When I try to use an application that depends on openGL it just never opens and when I try to use an OpenGL screensaver it just brings up a blank screen. I have tried plenty of different suggested solutions. I have the latest version of fglrx.

What info do you get when typing fglrxinfo in Terminal?

Self I'm a newbie on Linux. But it seems like you are having some type of 32-bit drivers, or packages, installed. And you are using 64-bit Kubuntu (which is known to have some problems sometimes).

I've searched a little on the Ubuntu-forum. This is what I got:

        Good luck!
