Kubuntu Won't run after adjusting resolution

    Hi,
I'm, realitivly new to Kubunu, but I know enough to adjust the display. I tried to adjust the resolution to 1024 x 768 from 800 x 600. It told me to restart the X server, which I did, but now it won't start, instead hanging with the kubuntu logo and a blue loading bar. which doen't move. Any suggestions?

    Thanks,

Re: Kubuntu Won't run after adjusting resolution

    Hi,

To gt it back to normal you should reconfigure xserver-xorg :
    sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

Then edit the file /etc/X11/xorg.conf and change the resolution, just remove the 1024*768 keywords from it

    Hope it helps.
