Partition problems

Hello ppl
Im trying to install Kubuntu and am stuck. The problem is when i choose manual partition during installation, the partitions are detected but then the box changes to blank and says below choose a partition with atleast 2gb, but my hdd structure is not displayed. If i click continue, nothing happens....
Pls help

How fast did you burn your install CD? If you did it at 48X or something you're going to have troubles somewhere or another in the install. Burn it at the slowest speed your writer will support.
