The laptop I have is:

Compaq Presario V3015CA
AMD Turion X2 (64bit, 1.6Ghz, 256x2kb L2)
Nvidia Geforce GO 6150
Synaptics Touchpad drive
Broadcom 43XX 802.11bg Wireless
nForce Networking Controller
Conexant High Definition Audio

I have my display not working as 1280x800@60hz how to I get it to work and,
how do I get my broadcom 43xx to function in Kubuntu?
and another, is there any way to get the scrolling on the touchpad to work too??

To get more/better answers, you should probably split your post to three different topics since there are three different problems.

You should also search the forums to see whether previous posts/howtos will help. Here's a few threads I found with 'broadcom 43':
