I have a T2400 core duo.
If I use the regular kernel, the computer works fine, but /proc/cpuinfo displays only one CPU, so it's not using two cores.
I tried installing linux-smp, but afterwards the boot time was LOOOONGGGG and the computer is extremely slow. I tried using the old kernel and it works good, but not making use of the core duo...
I did /proc/cpuinfo and now it displays both cores, but like I said it's unusable.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
