    Windows wireless drivers

    Hi

I recently downloaded ndiswrapper and tried to run window wireless drivers utility, but got hit with "gksudo" not found - i managed to bypass this with help from this forum, by typing "kdesu ndisgtk" in run command, but when it loads and i try to install a INF file nothing happens!!

I have already checked that my wireless networking card is compatible with kubuntu, so that isn't the problem can anyone help please??

    thank you

    Re: Windows wireless drivers

ndisgtk only works about half way in Kubuntu. It really is not that useful for installed, more for a quick check of what is installed. Use the command line, it is not too hard. There are plenty of instructions right here on the forum, maybe even for your particular card. Search by card and if you can't find anything search by chipset. Good luck.
