    Stream Radio RE: Shoutcast.com

    Hello there,
I am just taking Kubuntu for a test drive.
I really like the amarok program, but I can't play stream radio from www.shoutcast.com
Is there some kind of dependancies I need?

    Cheers!

I suggest a different application. Try "Streamtuner".

      Bigguy,

I use amarok for most streams. Amarok by default uses the xine engine. Most of the streams will play for me in amarok. Although some will not. I just don't listen to the ones that won't play.

I just installed streamtuner. Its works rather well, however it did ask me to install xmms, which I had not installed. So I changed the preferences to open amarok instead of xmms.
