    Lost and Found

    Hi:

I was curious if anyone knows why a program would appear in the Lost and Found menu group?
Right now I have 3 including Open Office Drawing which wasn't there before and has been installed for quite sometime... actually I haven't even used that program. Why do things appear here?
Anyone know how I can correct this?

    Thank you

    Re: Lost and Found

the Lost and Found is for menu entries that either are set up to go into a sub-menu that doesn't exist, or possibly may not be in the correct format.

This can happen with packages in universe or multiverse as they do not always get the extra attention, and third party packages can have this happen as well

it is easily fixed by using the menu editor (right-click on the "K" menu) and drag the items wherever you want. Once the Lost and Found menu is empty, it won't show in your main menu anymore (or at least until you install another package with that problem )

If the menu entries are from official (K)Ubuntu packages, you can file a bug report if you wish
