I am new to Kubuntu. I have gotten dual monitor mode to work, but the primary monitor appears to have a background that is larger than the monitor. The problem is that the entire desktop is not fitting within the viewable monitor, so I have to move my cursor around to see the entire KDE desktop (primary screen only). Note that I am using a Princeton VL173 monitor.
The secondary monitor appears to have the proper desktop size.
