Help needed for System 'special button' in Panel

Hi, i'm new at kde and i'm tryng to fix an installation on my laptop..it seems that i've my ntfs partition mounted and i can acces itfrom /media , but if i put a special button 'system' on my panel and try to access Storage Media from there, it shows me an empty folder media:/ with nothing in it...can anyone help me please? thanx in advance

media:/ and /media are diff locations.

I see, the problem occurs after the first update i make, i tried reinstalling everything and it goes well, but when i do the update.. media:/ becomes an empty place...:/
