hello and thanks for reading. i've just installed a 6.10 PPC release on a G4 ibook, and TTY1 to TTY6 terminals do not respond to the "usual" ctrl+alt+F1 to F6 instruction. any clue?? is it possibly due to the keyboard layout setup (macintosh/powerbook) or do i need some specific package i'm not aware of? regards.

At first sight, this looks to me as if your keyboard settings were not configured properly (read: "as MacOS likes it"). You may (re-) check them by means of System Settings > Keyboard & Mouse > Keyboard Shortcuts ...

well... they do well.. LOL the "@" works and layout seems ok... either through Xfree86 and XorgComment
