    Switching Desktops?

    Hi guys,

I'm brand new to all this Linux/Kubuntu shtuff. I'm having fun tinkering with it, and was wondering if theres any alternate ways to change desktops. For example, my friend is running some sort of OSX on his MAC, and it flops desktops when you mouse to the edge of the screen. I know that is a bad comparison, and I know MACs work quite differently, but Kubuntu has already impressed me with the nifty things it does.

Is there any way to do this, or am I dreaming too big?

    Thnx,
    Joe

That particular feature (Active screen edges) can be found in SystemSettings>WindowBehavior>Behaviour-tab.

There are also other ways to switch desktops, like mouse wheel and keyboard shortcuts.

Not that bad - for OS X and Linux are both "descendants" of good old UNIX 8)
