Can I start Kubuntu with the wireless connected?

I finally got my wireless working yesterday, thanks to some advice on this very forum. Since then, I've had to go into Wireless Assistant to connect manually. There has got to be a way to start up with the wireless connected, right?

    Thanks.

Go into System Settings>Network Settings. Click on Admistrator Mode, select your wireless device and configure it. Enter essid, wep key, if used. Make sure the 'Activate when computer starts' box is checked. Apply changes.

You should be good to go.
