I'm a newbie and trying to install Dansguardian and endeavoring to follow the instructions under the following link: http://www.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=207008.
When trying to edit sudo gedit /etc/dansguardian/dansguardian.conf via Kate I get the following message: "The document could not be saved, as it was not possible to write to file:///etc/dansguardian/dansguardian.conf.dpkg-new.
Check that you have write access to this file or that enough disk space is available".
How do I obtain the desired 'write access'?
Are there simpler instructions at hand in respect of editing files etc?
