dictionary and spell cheks

Hi I have a question about dictionaries and spell check.
I would like to have the possibility to perform spell check in three languages, English, Italian and German.
I read about Kspell (ispell), but I cannot configure it so that kontact or other application see them. I only get the possibility to spell check only English. Could anyone suggest how to configure it? Shall I configure it for each program, or can I configure it from somewhere in the system settings?

You have to install additional spell check dictionaries. I use aspell. Ispell dictionary packages for the languages you want are:
- iamerican or ibritish
- iitalian
- ingerman
