    Hi Hossam
I check the Ubuntu site for FTP server go to the following links
    https://help.ubuntu.com/6.06/ubuntu/...tp-server.html

You can also search the Ubuntu and Kubuntu forums

I use KFTPGrabber I like it it does what I need

You also search in Adept or Synaptic then find which you will work the best for your needs

    Good Luck

Being new I was stuck as to where to look for programs as well to accomplish what I need.

But, once I figured out how to use adept-manager and the repositories, things went a lot easier. You can search for what you want in the "manage repository" window. I would search for something like "GUI FTP server"

      Good luck.

Re: FTP Server .. How to Install & Configure (GUI) ?

There are few gui's for Linux ftp servers. If you google for them, you will find a couple here and there, but the preference in this area is for command-line as these are, well, servers and they are not really personal servers like the ones you use in windows

Look for gproftpd and kcmpureftpd, both are in Universe, so that needs to be enabled first
