How to configure Konqueror view mode

I want to configure Konqueror so that it will _always_ open a file system or directory in the detailed list view.

    How?

Try this...Open Konqueror, browse to anywhere (even just /)
    Change to desired view
Select 'settings' and 'Save View Profile "Kubuntu File Manager"...'

Should do the trick let me know

      Yes, that worked.

I don't understand one thing. Konqueror seems to recognize 2 profiles: Kubuntu File Manage and Kubuntu Web, and maybe you can make more. How do you configure which one is used at startup?

Thanks a lot for your helpful reply.

          Thanks Douseej85

          Yes it does work
I did a search for "view mode" and found this

          after years of window$
K/Ubuntu is a great product. I wish more people would start to use it.
With all the knowledge around the world that use and make K/Ubuntu work so good, HATS OFF TO THEM. It is a place to go to and anybody will help others get a better knowledge of Linux.

Thanks to All and keep up the GREAT work
