problems with user image and x-sessions

Hiya people, I'm a newbie, so there's probably some easy answers to this.
1: When I try to change my image, an alert pops up, saying that the system administrator has disabled changing the user image
2: When I start a second X session, it starts on Ctrl-Alt-F9, not Ctrl-Alt-F8, is there anyway to change that? When I switch to F8, it shows the startup checks. Also, F12 cannot be used as a X session either. How do I change this?

Seems nobody want to answer that one.

Go to system settings -> Advanced -> Login Manager (enter administrator mode).
Go to the user tab and select in user image source "User, admin"

Apply and close the system settings windows.
restart it and you will be able to change your picture in the "about me" menu.

    2. How to you start your section x session (from console?).
