configure isp(netzero)

hello everyone,i am new here and also to linux,hope your can help me .
i had a pctel internal modem,dial-up(netzero), can anyone help me to configure this ?i don't think it detect it .
and also when i went to dial-up configuration it said this: "/etc/resolv.cof"ask your administrator to create this file.how can i create this?thnks
