I'm trying to get some of my windows software i use to work in linux.I use team talk to chat with my friends (i mean voice chat) and i instaled wine i used winecfg and in the audio tab i choose arts driver , after this i can conect to the room my friends made using team talk ,i can hear them but i cant speak with them.Its like my mic isnt working so i'm stuck at this point if anyone else succeded in running team talk with wine please post the solution.It has to be something with the sound card driver but i dont know how things work or if anyone can tell me if wine has direct sound suport i could choose in team talk to use direct sound for input/output devices.

Have you tried here to look for this app. Have you tried to set winecfg to another version of Windows?~$sudo make me a sandwich

Make sure your mic is not muted in Kmix (it often is by default). Click on the kmix icon in the taskbar, and click Mixer. It will be in the input tab, and there you can adjust the volume level, mute it, etc. There also may be a Mic Boost option in the Switches tab that may help as well. Once you verify the mic works first, then you can proceed to see if it works in wine

I posted on the teamtalk forum and the guy that made the sofware said "well, there's no Linux client since very few have asked for one, so.." so maybe i'll post some more there and we'll make a linux version .
So the software isn't something i cant live without but i wanted to learn how to use wine,how to trick some windows programs to work in linux.Anyway thx guys for ur replys
