    Browsing local network

How can I browse files on other Linux machines on my local network?

    Re: Browsing local network

You need to have NFS installed to share files between linux's. All your shared folder will show up under remote places once it's set up.

Ok. I've looked at http://nfs.sourceforge.net/nfs-howto/. Is there an easy one-click way of setting it up, or is there some simpler way of transferring files between two machines?

Btw, what is zeroconf:/ in Remote Places?

        GOTO>>K>>system settings>>sharing. Check NFS share.

In the address bar type zeroconf://(ipaddress):0

Hm, tried that, but only got:

An error occurred while loading zeroconf://10.0.0.3:
          Malformed URL invalid URL.

NFS seems to be enabled under File Sharing though.
