    kubuntu on a mac pro external HD

    Hey,
    I have heard that kubuntu is one of the few Linux distros that works on an external Hard Drive. I have a 20 GB partition on my external hard drive ready. What build should I choose if my system is a Mac Pro?

    There are Power PC releases, however the Mag Pro is Intel bases I think it should load with Boot CaMP IT oot Camp supports external drives. The USB drives are slow but my MacBook Pro runs well off of a firewire drive. I will be watching this thread I would like to be able to boot Kubuntu off of a firewire I just have not got the time to play with it Good Luck
