Kaffeine has no audio on tv player

    Hi

I have just installed Kubuntu 6.10 on an AMD64 and am having a few niggly proplems.

Kaffeine player scans for tv channels and plays them but i have no audio on the tv, an audio cd plays ok. do i need a plugin to get audio on the freecom dvb-t usb stick?

    any help appreciated, thanks

    libxine-extracodecs

I believe this is the file you need to play the audio tracks. I know you need it to play MP3s. Have you tried that out yet?

      Thanks,

Don't know what I have done but I have lost the DVB option now in kaffeine, been mucking around to much. Time to re-install and start again.
