control windows dialup networking from linux?

With windows ICS any remote windows pc can control the dialup connection on the host pc. Is there a linux program that allows you to see the connection and control it? I still use dialup at the farm because its pretty much all thats available aside from sat.

If I connect the winblowz box manually I can of course use the internet on the laptop but Its upstairs and I dont want to walk up stairs to disconnect it

I'm using edgy eft on my laptop and it doesn't see my modem... I'm not realy worried about the modem as the winblowz box has a nice usr 56 external. I know it would work for my laptop but the fewer external things connected the better.

Thanks for your help and I'm new!!

    Claude,

you may try to get remote access (from the Linux) to the Windoze desktop "as a whole", e.g. by using metaVNC or the like ...
