Aight, so, this is Jay. I'm usin Kubuntu 6.06 LTS. And havin loadsa problems.
First, I can't play mp3s and video clips. To be droppin the details, mp3s stop before they start but amoroK is able to read the ID3 Tags (just so you know). They don't work in Kaffeine either. Same problem and a "X" sign on the volume icon. But it says the mute is off. I've tried togglin but it was a waste. About video clips, they play them but with no sound. Help me out!
And secondly, usin Adept I've downloaded the Apollon which apparently is missin the Fasttrack plug-in which apparently can't be found in Adept. Anyway I've download that but now pretty much unable to install cuz it says...
checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c
checking whether build environment is sane... yes
checking for gawk... gawk
checking whether make sets $(MAKE)... no
checking for gcc... gcc
checking for C compiler default output file name... configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables
See `config.log' for more details.
... when I try to do "./configure". Help me out!
