Ubuntu to Kubuntu?

I followed the instructions to install the KDEbase files on my Unbuntu install. But, when I go to sessions at login, I don't see KDE as an option.

Any tips on running KDE on a previously installed Ubuntu install?

Try typing sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop in a terminal rather than kdebase. That's what I did on one of my machines and it worked great for me.

Please don't use apt-get. Use aptitude instead.
