    pcAnywhere host on Linux

I am in the process of replacing Windows with Linux (Kubuntu 6.10) on computers I use for distributed processing.

I'd like to be able to use pcAnywhere on a Windows computer to manage the Kubuntu computers.

I have not been able to install the pcAnywhere host on the Kubuntu computers.

Has anyone on this forum done this? I would appreciate your help.

    Thank you.

You wold have to run a full windows emulator to run PC anywhere and then you could only control the windows programs and OS. There are several applications for distributed computing availabe for Linux. In this case you would be better off running the windows programs in windows.
