kmyfirewall error

I installed kmyfirewall through apt-get and I get an error like this when I try to start it :

Error: Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Error: Xlib: No protocol specified
Error:
Error: kdesu: cannot connect to X server :0.0

Execution failed
Exit(Code): 1


Anybody who knows what the error means and how to fix it?Have I done some settings wrong?

Have you tried Firestarter? Both kmyfirewall and kmyfirewall are in adept package manager - maybe try reinstalling it from there?

thx for the answer but unfortunately I have reinstalled it back and fourth many times now and same error... Firestarter is not to configuirable, nether guarddog. (
