    Help!

    Hi,

    I am really new to linux so bear with me. I have got a Kubuntu 6.06LTS livecd, i tried it and loved it!!! But i cant get the wireless to work. It found my wireless connection, i entered my WPA key, CONNECTING, the CONNECTION FAILED I know it must be really simple, but i dont get it. I am going to a Linux meeting on Thursday. To have 6.10 installed would i have the same problem

    Computer: Dell Inspiron 6000
    Wireless card: Intel PROWireless 2200BG

    Welcome to forum. Please use a subject a bit more descriptive that help. Like:

    Subject: Can't connect with wireless NIC Intel 2200BG

    This is a popular NIC and there are a number of howto's. Use the search first and then move to google and I think you can find step-by-step instructions. I had one, but it went TU and I replaced it with a 2915. Edgy auto recognized and configured it. I would be surprised if it did not do the same with the 2200 as it has been around longer and plenty of vendors use that chip. Good luck. Here are a couple of links:
