Problem with partitions.

Hello everyone!

Here’s the deal,

I installed Kubuntu 6.10 a few days ago, and I partitioned the hard drive (SATA 160 GB) with partition magic 8.0, this way:

“C” is for windows XP and programs.
“D” is for files and stuff.
And well the other ones are linux-related.

But when I go to linux I can’t see the partitions of "C" and "D". Checked everywhere but it’s like they don’t even exist.

Is there a problem with the way I partitioned the HD?

Any partitions and hard drives that are not used by Kubuntu are not mapped by default. Unfortunately, I'm not enough of a geek to know how to manually add them to the file system table, but I think it has to do with editing some file.
