I installed the latest version of Amarok 1.4.4 on my Edgy system and now it crashes everytime I try to open it . How do I uninstallthe program aso that i can reinstall the previous version which seemed more stable?
In the K menu, under System (I think), there is a program called Adept. In that program, click the type in the search area "Amarok." It will list the different programs, one of them being plain "Amarok." Click on it, and then click on the "Remove," button. Click on the "Apply Changes," button at the top of the window, and wait for it to remove it. Then, look for the .deb to the older version.

I uninstalled it with Adept and tried to reinstall it with Adept but it still crashed so I switched to ubuntu gnome environment and was able to reinstall with Synaptic so far without problems.
