How to setup the dialup connection

Hi Friends,
I've been using Ubuntu 5.10 for a long time, but since I got a new PC I wanted to try Ubuntu 6.10 but accidentally people at Linux centre Sri Lanka have given a Kubuntu CD to the friend i sent there. Since I live 116 kms away from the centre I had to install Kubuntu for the first time. But I find it really different.
I need help setting up a dial up internet connection.

Please let me know if there are any online help pages about configuring a dial up connection with Kubuntu. I am totally lost

Having not installed Kubuntu 6.10 yet, I may be giving you some completely incorrect advice, but I believe what you need is KPPP - the KDE dialer application. Check out the following link which steps you through the KPPP wizard:
