No, ekiga is not on the cd but is easily installed. Kopete theoretically has video support for msn, but as I neither have a webcam nor use msn, I cannot verify that it works. You could try installing ekiga while in a livecd session, but there would be quite a few extra libs that would have to be loaded into memory compared to a Ubuntu livecd as Ekiga (and Ubuntu) use gnome, while Kubuntu and kopete use KDE
Thanks for the answer. I realize Kubuntu uses KDE (that's why I prefer it ) but was not sure some Gnome stuff is not included on the Live CD. I tried to build Kopete with Jabber and webcam support but had trouble running it.
I plan to send the LiveCD to a friend so we can chat+webcam but he uses windows and it would be to hard for him to run additional install, so I will send him Ubuntu LiveCD for this.
