Hi,
i was wondering if it is possible to have a fool-proof step by step installation guide for azureus 2.5.0.0?
using kubuntu egy
amd64.
i've been browsing every single forum but still haven't found a working solution

Hi,

You should first open activate universe repository if it's not done already, it can be done in adept (manage repository) or by editing the file /etc/apt/sources.list.
Then update the repository (sudo apt-get update)

And finally install azureus, (sudo apt-get install azureus) or by selecting this package in adept.

i found out that i needed java 1.5. now it works
