Firefox 2.0

Good day, I have downloaded firefox 2.0 and used ark to extract the relevant files. The files extracted in a firefox folder on my desktop. When I open that folder and click on the "firefox" icon, it works great, firefox 2.0 starts.

But, when I start again firefox using the menu in applications, it is my old firefox 1.5 that starts. I am a git confused. Anyone can help

Hello,

You need to change where your menu looks for FF, this can be done by starting KMenuEdit then navigate to where your existing FF item is and then change the path to your new version of FF in the Command box. Then Save. Then from KMenu your new FF will start when selected.
