    Webcam PTP Class

    Hi

I have a Sony Vaio SZ2hp/b, and everything works fine except the webcam. I've written some posts, but without posting anything about the camera. Now I've found some information (with hardcore googling =)). Here's the output of lsusb:

    alex@raketmaskin:~$ lsusb
    Bus 003 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
    Bus 005 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
    Bus 002 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
    Bus 004 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 05ca:1830 Ricoh Co., Ltd
    Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000

In Digital Camera (under System Settings) I have a USB PTP Class Camera. When I try to configure it I get the error message:

Unable to initialize camera. Check your port settings and camera connectivity and try again.

And this the output of sudo lsusb -v (only the Ricoh part):

Any solution? In fact, any ideas would be helpful because I don't know what to do at all!

    Thanks!
