hi i've been dual booting windoze expee and kubuntu for a couple of weeks. initially i could not access any of my windows NTFS partions but managed to mount and have access to one of them using the GUI system settings. However when i try to access the other partitions i receive a message that oanother partion is already mounted at the point. Is it that you need each of the windows partitions on individual mount points or there is alot more to it. Also my floppy shows as not mounted while i can see it as mounted under root under media. Thanks for any forthcoming reply.

Re: cannot access some of my windows partitions
O.k., first things first: what you (should) see under /media are folder which are supposed to be the "targets" (officially named "mountpoints") your computer's file systems (e.g. a floppy disk or a Windoze partition) are supposed to be mounted to ... maybe these examples as well as the will help you sort things out - otherwise: keep asking
