getting kubuntu to look like.......

I have been going between suse and kubuntu for some time now and the only reason I keep going back to suse is because everything just has a more crisp look to it. Being pretty new to linux I am not to sure why that is but would love to know if it possible to do the same to kubuntu. I mean in the sense of the windows that open i.e firefox k3b etc looks more professional.

Any help would be appreciated
