How to put IrDA working?

Hi!
I have one USB IrDA dongle, and i don't know how can i use it or manage in kubuntu.
How do i send and receive files by IrDA in kubuntu?

Try the packages irda-utils, ircp and obexftp... Reading the manpage for irattach may also help. (That is, type "man irattach" in a console.)

Not easy reading though! When I'm more awake I'll see if I can go into a bit more detail.
