Hello,
I loaded some new software with Adept and the next time I started Kubuntu the KDE desttop did not start. After entering my password on the login screen the screen went all blue then all black then the login screen came up again. I can start the failsafe mode. I also modified the file /etc/profile but I think I have restored it to the original.
Any ideas?
