Cannot install karamba

I've just installed kubuntu and im very happy with it! But im having one problem. I wanted to intall karamba on my desktop, so i downloaded it from the site, and follwed the directions and it didnt work :-/ i did a little research and found out that it was the source, and i had to have all these packages to compile it, but it also said that i could download it from the repositories. I have searched long and hard through adept, and using apt-get but i cannot find it anywhere. Any ideas?

Check if you have the "main" repositories (repositories with "main") enabled. You need those to install superkaramba.

tried that... no luck.

If it makes a difference, i actually have ubuntu installed running kde, but it comes up as kubuntu... i think that might make a difference.

no it wouldn't make a difference. could you post the contents of your /etc/apt/sources.list in here?

did you remember to click on Fetch Updates after you made changes? If not, do that. then look again for superkaramba.

i tried... nothing new. Is it listed as superkaramba or something else because i dont see it listed.
