I had my machine off-line for about a week and returned it to the net. when I got it back online, I got the cool icon next to the clock that has some recommended upgrades(from adept). I choose to allow all of them and continued. Now I cannot use any adept software because according to Ksysguard I have adept running already in the background without my knowledge. I decided to try and kill it and I cannot figure out how to kill it, I am not running a process manager as root and I don't know how and what I did wrong to have adept running in the background.
If anyone can understand my gibberish and has means to help with my newer dapper drake install please do.
